(As the interviewee, think about why they are asking this question. They probably want to know how you get along with others – and if you have good interpersonal and communication skills – which are VERY important to employers. VERY important! Thus, you might say something like: )
Well, actually, I have been a member on quite a few teams – at work, at school and for fun. I enjoy being on teams because of the relationships that I have formed and I enjoy the collaboration. I like learning from others and seeing different Points of View. I have had the experience of earning a leader position or reputation on some of my teams – both being appointed and chosen by my peers to lead a project. But I am also comfortable being collaborative and cooperative and supporting others.
