So how are those New Years Resolutions going?
Good? Not so good? Didn’t set any for 2016?
I did and I’m excited about them. And in fact, I’m still writing some. I even write New Years Resolutions for my family. That may sound annoying, but they let me do this – every year. And we have fun with this.
We even go back and look at previous years and see what we said we would do and see what we have actually accomplished. And we often laugh at what we haven’t done. But it doesn’t stop us from writing new ones or repeating old ones. It doesn’t stop us from looking forward, and being hopeful about what the New Year will bring....

If you haven’t noticed, we have some themes for our Blog posts. They surround
the concept of DICE-T, which is something we created for Millennials, but is
really applicable to anyone.
DICE-T – Discover, Inspire, Coach, Empower, Transition. It’s something most
of us do in our lifetimes – especially if we are moving from one chapter to
another; college to the real world, one job to a new one, moving from one city to a

Running a marathon is always something that I’ve wanted to do. I’ve thought about it a lot and always knew that I would accomplish it one day, but the training was daunting. It took a lot of thought, self-talk, pairs of socks, and persuasion – and believing that I would be a better version of myself on the other side of that finish line.
The training wasn’t easy. And the race was even harder. What I know now is that training for a marathon is a transition and finishing the race is the new chapter that the transition bridges. Running a marathon is entertaining. There are signs and people everywhere. One of my favorite signs I saw while r...

Drove to Cong, film place of the famous John Wayne, Maureen O’Hara film; The Quiet Man. Met up with two cousins there. The trip from Westport to Cong, however, was harrowing. The GPS was definitely messing with us Yanks and it sent us via the shortest and most perilous route.
As it is, in Ireland, the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car (actually just the “other” side), and we must drive on the wrong side of the road (actually just the left side). So that makes it immediately confusing, but then add to that a stick-shift, signage in Gaelic, kilometers, (versus miles) and more.
All this, and then we found ourselves driving on...

Be inspired, inspire others, and inspire yourself. Sounds great right?
As you may know, that’s a lot easier said than done. As a YouTube Beauty Blogger/Vlogger it’s essential for me to feel inspired and encourage my followers to be inspired on a regular basis. It’s a great joy of mine to create - create content, create happiness, create smiles, create enjoyment, and create an urgency to feel empowered.
Inspiration can come from an array of places and probably doesn’t come from the same place for each of us. It’s okay if what inspires your best friend, co-worker, etc. doesn’t inspire you. It’s essential to find your own source of inspir...
